About World Art Atlas

 

World Art Atlas is an independent international archive of contemporary art.

The project documents artists and their works within a global catalogue designed for long-term cultural preservation. World Art Atlas is not a gallery and does not operate as a marketplace. It does not promote artists, sell artworks, or participate in commercial representation. Instead, it establishes a neutral structure where artistic presence can be recorded and remain accessible over time.

This is not about promotion. This is about remaining.

The archive focuses on contemporary artistic practices across:

• painting,

• sculpture,

• photography,

• digital art.

Artists are included regardless of geography, recognition, or market position.

 

Mission

The mission of World Art Atlas is to create a stable and accessible reference point for contemporary artistic presence.

The project aims to:

• preserve artistic presence beyond the short life cycle of digital platforms,

• maintain neutrality without ranking, evaluation, or curatorial hierarchy,

Each profile includes:

• a fixed position within the archive.

This structure ensures equal visual presence and prevents dominance based on popularity, promotion, or external influence.

World Art Atlas does not evaluate or rank artists.

Inclusion in the archive does not constitute endorsement or critical judgment.

Artists are not promoted — they are recorded.

The archive exists as a system of presence rather than visibility.

 

Archive Contribution

Participation in the archive is based on a contribution that supports its long-term maintenance.

This is not a payment for promotion or representation.

Contributions support:

• archive infrastructure and server maintenance,

• long-term data storage,

• technical development,

• preservation of artist profiles and documented works.

 

Continuity

The archive is designed for long-term operation with ongoing technical support and maintenance.
